Donate for the Earthquake Victims in Haiti

Family Network Foundation and The Center for the Protection of Children's Rights Foundation (CPCR) would like to invite you all to help the earthquake victims in Port-au-Prince, Haiti by donating via ACDED and PRODEVA, NGOs for children in Haiti.

ACDED and PRODEVA provide social welfare services for children and teenagers in Haiti in terms of education, strengthening the community and promoting health of the community as well as environment.

ACDED helps and supports 3 communities in the southeastern area in Haiti (Cayes-Jacmel, Marigot, and Bellanse). The organization has actively participated in activities at multi-levels, aiming for education betterment of the children. (Find more about ACDED http://www.interaide.org/interaide/partenaires/partenaires.htm)

PRODEVA is established to enhance education quality of children in the rural area in Ennery, Artibonite, in the western part of the country around the city of Port-au-Prince. The organization focuses on improving the quality of life of the victims from the disaster because the headquarters is located at the center of the city of Port-au-Prince.

The Family Network Foundation and the Center for the Protection of Children's Rights Foundation (CPCR) always support children’s well-being and their family. The organizations realize that some of these children lost their family, home and opportunities to be offered food and other supplies. They still lack those resources and they need the media to speak for their need. People are not informed about how to donate for them.

“The officers in the orphanage house in Carrefour area of Port-au-Prince said that 50 orphans out of 125 in the house died. The others are waiting for help and support. Essential services are not yet available to all of the affected.

The villagers are desperately digging out the debris of the ruined buildings to search for their family’s bodies. They said that there are most of them stuck in the debris. The Haiti government reported that they found 50,000 bodies. The total casualty is now up to 100,000-200,000”

Worse, these desperate people stole properties and they fought for food without a sense of humanity. It is now concerned that the rescue service will not be able to reach the suffered children who are not able to help themselves and lost their families.

Therefore, we would like to gather all help and support and send to Haiti via these two organizations.
